REDNA
A 2039 design fiction about the future of health advancement.
Summary
CRISPR and Prime editing are recent technologies that that allow us to alter our DNA. In the context of design fiction, the project explores the future of these types of technologies and how they could change our ways of living. This 9-minute video brings us to 2039 in a world where gene editing is common practice.

Developing the design fiction, writing the scenario and dialogs, designing the artifacts, editing the video

Intent
The intention behind this design fiction is to make people consider the impacts that genetic modifications could have on humans. To what extent do we want to become "better" and "more efficient?" Can society ask too much of us, to the point where we may have to become superhuman in order to achieve the minimum that is expected of us?
